The Sierra Club is a non-profit, member-supported, public interest organization that promotes conservation of the natural environment by influencing public decisions -- legislative, administrative, legal, and electoral. The River Prairie Group is the local segment of the Sierra Club composed of in excess of 2,800 members in the Greater DuPage County, Illinois area. The Group is entirely volunteer-run and, thus, relies on the work of many members to make a difference. Whether you are interested in environmental activism, enjoying nature, or behind the scenes support work, we have opportunities for you.
