Details: John Caupert, director of the National Corn-to-Ethanol Research Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will present on what his non-profit's mission is. The non-profit center provides industry support for design and construction of new ethanol plants, development and implementation of processes to enhance ethanol production, movement of near-term research into commercial production and coordination of efforts by corn growers, livestock producers and the ethanol industry.

All members are welcome to attend the Piasa Palisades Group Executive Committee meeting that is held at 7 pm on the third Monday of each month at the Sierra Club office, 223 Market Street in Alton, Illinois 62002.
